Portable Cautery devices
Portable Cautery devices achieve their effect through controlled thermal coagulation. These devices are popular for many procedures including pinpoint hemostasis, controlling diffuse bleeders, and many others. They are composed of an insulated body, conductive metal tip and switch.
During use, first remove the protective cap at the head end, gently press and hold the switch to turn on the built-in power supply to bring about instant heating of the tungsten tip. Align the heated tungsten wire with the micro-vessels on the scleral surface and local bleeding points in the operation field to achieve cauterization and hemostasis. After hemostasis is complete, release the switch to power off.
Our range of portable cautery devices are lightweight, easy to operate, and achieves excellent hemostasis across a wide range of procedures.
